She tried out twice for Morning Musume, and the first time, she had blonde hair! She's long been one of the lead singers and has a Yankee style of fashion, which has seemed to mellow out as of late. On her very first single as a member of Morning Musume, "Shabondama", she was handed the lead, and did exceptionally well with it. She's known for her "killer wink".
