She came into the 6th Generation as the self-proclaimed "cute one", and she's held up to that title ever since. Joining Morning Musume along with fellow-newbies, Eri and Reina, she was considered the weakest singer of the three, but has improved significantly since then. She often makes the peace-sign with both of her hands and hold them against her head and says, "Usa-chan Peace!", and it has become her signature line. Whether she's talking to her mom on her cellphone while attempting to cook lunch for her fellow members, or trying to explain why she likes spicy food so much, her meccha-kawaii personality cannot be denied!
