Originally from Shiga in the Kansai region, she's tried hard to lose her Kansai-ben accent. On her first episode of HelloMorning, she told Koharu that she is her rival. Shy, yet sure of herself, over the past year, she's fallen into her role within Morning Musume, and her new haircut adds to her adorable personality. She has an older sister whom she admires, and within H!P, looked to Hitomi and Miki as her mentors. She provides the voice for a minor character in the anime "Athena and Robokirettsu".
